Red Hawk Robotics (2713) and NUTRONs (125) are hosting a new invitational FRC offseason event, THE NOR’EASTER, on September 19 – 21, 2025.
THE NOR’EASTER will feature 8 pre-formed alliances of 4 robots. Teams will apply together as an alliance.
THE NOR’EASTER will consist of 56 qualification matches in a round robin format, leading to a standard FRC double elimination bracket.
When: Friday, September 19 – Sunday, September 21, 2025
Where: Melrose High School, 360 Lynn Fells Pkwy, Melrose, MA 02176
Cost: $2,000 per alliance
Alliance Application: Application for pre-formed alliances are open. An announcement will be made on this Chief Delphi thread when the application is opened. Applications will close on Monday, July 7th.
Volunteer Applications: We will need many volunteers to make The Nor’easter a success! If you are interested in being a key volunteer (FTA, Voice, Head Referee, etc.) please signup.

Our intention is that you don’t need to change your robot or set points. The field will remain constant
We are sure to see some VERY high performing alliances. Therefore we will add ways to score that should give some head-room in the scoring and allow for alliance differentiation.
